After having small, simple litterboxes for all years, I was tired of trying to get stuff unstuck from the bottom, tired of cleaning the box itself regularly, tired of always having to step in sand because one of my cats try to dig into the earths core. With this box there's hardly any sand on the floor, and what little is there can easily be countered with a cat litter mat that I've also ordered from zooplus. The litter doesn't get stuck as easily as with a regular box. I'm very satisfied.
